the voice of DESIRE / LA VOZ DEL DESEO

PATRICIA LINENBERG | SOLO EXHIBITION

01 - 22  OCT 2022

1/4

The Voice of Desire

Patricia Linenberg (Buenos Aires, 1954) unfolds her creative process through different visual narratives.

Patricia’s subtle but powerful images are expressed through her gesture and movement. Alluring and provocative painted bodies, and untamed animals surrounded and trapped between darkness and fantasy are an open invitation to a world of carnal desire.

She traverses the expressive power of Pina Bausch, the poetry of H.Ferrer, the music of Piazzolla, and the compelling photography of Nan Goldin. She takes up the infinite creativity of Borges inspired by her love for the Milonga.

Her creative process relates music and performance to the seductive element of tango, the courage and intensity of passion and the sensuality of the human body.
