    ANA CASAL

    Born in Punta Alta, Argentina. She lives and works in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. 


    From 1978 to 1980, she studied History of Art in Museo del Prado and Museo Lázaro Galdeano in Madrid, Spain. 


    In 1998, The Cultural Service of the Embassy of France granted her a scholarship for the University of Caen, Normandy, in France. 


    In 2014, she attended the workshop “From the thoughts to the Image”, by Lena Szankay. 


    From 2014 to 2016, she studied at the Escuela Argentina de Fotografía (EAF), Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. 


    In 2018, she participated in the workshop “A sensitive history” with Laurence Leblanc, at Maison des Stages, Arles, France. 


    In 2018, she attended workshops “Tools and Exercices for the Developpement of art projects”, “Avatars of independant curatory”, “The art of the Moment: Current Latin american Art”, at the Instituto Universitario ESEADE with the support of the Project of Cultural promotion and the participation of Fundación PROA. 


    Her series are part of private collections and Galleries.
